The HPE Synergy 480 Gen11 2SFF SAS/SATA/NVMe Premium Drive Cage Kit is a storage expansion accessory that enables installation of up to two small form factor (2.5-inch) drives directly within the Synergy 480 Gen11 Compute Module.

Compatibility & Requirements
This kit is required when connecting internal drives to the HPE SR416ie-m Gen11 Mezzanine Storage Controller (P39959-B21). The controller must be installed in mezzanine slot 1 (Fabric 1) of the compute module.
Configuration Options
Typical configurations pair this drive cage with SAS or NVMe solid-state drives for high-performance local storage, or SATA drives for cost-sensitive capacity requirements. The drive cage integrates seamlessly with the compute module's internal cabling infrastructure.
