The JL760A is a hot-plug, field-replaceable power supply module specifically designed for the HPE Aruba Networking CX 6300M 48G switch. It delivers 250 watts of output power at 12V DC and features power-to-port (back-to-front) airflow, drawing air from the rear and exhausting through the front to align with data center hot-aisle/cold-aisle containment strategies.

Important Compatibility Notice: The JL760A power supply is exclusively designed for use in the JL762A (Aruba 6300M 48G Power-to-Port) switch. It is not supported in any other 6300M switch models, which feature incompatible port-to-power (front-to-back) airflow.

Redundancy & Operation

For customers deploying the JL762A bundle, an additional JL760A power supply can be ordered separately to achieve 1+1 power redundancy. This ensures continuous network operation even if one power supply fails. When operating with redundant power supplies, the switch maintains full traffic and performance during a power supply failure, though the failed component should be replaced promptly as indicated by the PS LED flashing simultaneously with the switch Fault LED.

Procurement Note: The JL760A is the only power supply available for the JL762A switch, simplifying procurement and ensuring compatibility.
